The Role
We are seeking a skilled Japanese Affiliate and Marketing Manager to lead our affiliate marketing strategies targeting the Japanese market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English, and experience in managing affiliate networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, Manage, Retain and grow affiliates.
- Plan and execute acquisition plans.
- Produce strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to help support brand growth.
- Instil a sense of loyalty among affiliates and partners.
- Work closely with the CRM team and develop and execute acquisition plans.
- Working with legal and regulatory bodies, act as the lead on translating requirements into actions within the team
- Conduct market research and advise on market requirements and illustrate what a best-in-class product looks like
- Work with external agencies on Marketing launch and strategy for brand introduction and positioning
- Work with 3rd party providers, including gaming content suppliers, to negotiate rates, establish and maintain a good relationship
- P & L Responsibility for the respective market
- Deliver quarterly marketing strategies, encompassing ATL and BTL channels
- Interpret business and marketing data to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and report back to the business with results and learning in a clear, concise and constructive manner, identifying areas of concern and opportunity
- Work with the Tech team to create a roadmap for development to meet and exceed market expectations
- Work closely with Customer Support, Fraud and Payments to ensure a market-leading customer contact experience
- Create localised marketing campaigns for ATL branding, Social Media and Digital performance channels
- Brand communication, Brand image and other suitable job roles relating to marketing in a responsible country.This position reports to the Head of Acquisition.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in an Affiliate Manager role, Country Manager, Team Lead or relevant position.
- Proven track record of driving performance improvements and maximizing ROI within affiliate programs, ideally in the iGaming or online casino sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions based on insights.
- Experience with tools and software for tracking, reporting, and analyzing affiliate performance.
- Knowledge of the Japanese market and gaming behaviour.
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively, with a strong sense of initiative.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Japanese
- High level of attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with affiliate tracking software and digital marketing tools.
- An existing network of affiliates in Japan is an advantage.
