Altenaris an international IT company founded in 2011, with offices in Malta, Greece, Georgia, the Isle of Man, and Uruguay. We specialize in high-load software development and provide one of the best technology solutions for the iGaming industry worldwide.
We build and operate some of the world’s best Sportsbook technology. Our teams are diverse and mostly organised by function or specialisation domain. We have healthy matrix communication in place, but need to work on our estimation, delivery capacity measurement and task sequencing to improve the predictability of our feature and platform architecture delivery. Our teams develop the components that make up the functionality of our Platform-as-a-Service and operate it at scale within our own hosting architecture. Feature delivery and platform architecture delivery often go hand-in-hand and require orchestration to meet the demands of our customers.
We would like to establish a small team of Feature Delivery Managers to work with our product stakeholders, business analysts and technical teams.
Key relationships of the role:
Feature Delivery Managers will take on assignments that have substantial business objective clarity and supporting cases to allow correct delivery. The Business Analysts who provide the starting point to a deliverable, will provide continuous support throughout the delivery of that specific feature. Technical Domain leads are some of the key people Feature Delivery Managers interact with and also provide support to the assigned technical engineers working on delivery.
As a high-profile role, Feature Delivery Managers are regularly involved in the roadmap delivery sequencing and the management of priority changes. Their assessment on the impact and feasibility of delivery priority changes carries a lot of weight.
Feature Delivery Managers help each team plan their sprints and prepare for this by defining the relative scheduling required.
The Feature Delivery Managers will be responsible for the delivery of multiple features at a time by functional teams (development & infrastructure) working together within the context of one platform architecture and supported by one or more Business Analysts.
