The Role
In this role, you will oversee the entire employee life cycle from start to finish for your assigned departments. You will collaborate closely with both the leadership team and employees, to ensure HR strategies are aligned with the overall business objectives. You will be expected to manage the recruitment cycle, provide guidance on talent management, employee relations, performance, and organizational development. You will help drive employee engagement, change, and support leadership in making informed people-related decisions to foster a high-performance workforce.
This role will report into the Group Head of HR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Being the first point of call for all HR related queries;
- Managing the full recruitment cycle (for your departments);
- Day-to-day management of HR admin tasks,
- Issuing periodic reports through the HR system;
- Supporting management with people relation matters;
- Managing the full employee life cycle process (from onboarding to offboarding);
- Managing payroll reporting tasks;
- Completing work permit applications and renewals;
- Managing employee health insurance administration tasks;
- Ensuring that mandatory trainings are completed;
- Supporting management with the annual review process;
- Drafting employment agreements, addendums, letters and any other required HR documentation;
- Supporting the Head of HR in adhoc tasks and projects;
- Keeping updated with the latest employment laws;
- Assisting in HR audits
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience working within a Senior HR role (iGaming experience considered an asset) is essential;
- Strong knowledge of Maltese employment law is a must;
- Recruiting experience in a very fast-paced environment;
- Self-motivator and able to motivate others;
- Highly detail oriented and organized;
- Excellent level of spoken and written English;
- A team player with a can-do attitude;
- Agile mindset;
