Position Summary
The Front Desk & Employee Experience Partner serves as front of house Receptionist and provides administrative support to Executive Leaders and Gaming teams. Work assignments require a high level of organization skills to assist with scheduling and planning meetings, maintaining conference rooms and office space, presentation/training support, coordinating travel for teams/visitors and more. This role has a pulse on what drives employee engagement and helps to develop and execute culture building events. Serves as first point of contact for general office needs and coordinates with Facilities team accordingly. The ability to collaborate across all departments to develop and maintain a positive, collaborative, high-performance culture that encourages innovation, creativity, and accountability is critical.
*This position is working the front desk, in the office, five days a week.
Essential Job Functions:
· Greet visitors, receive/distribute packages and mail, answer and direct phone calls, take messages and respond to questions associated with the local office and Gaming Leadership Team.
· Ensure office spaces and meeting rooms are kept orderly and stocked with needed supplies (i.e. drinks, snacks, office supplies, etc.); manage budget and inventory accordingly.
· Assist with developing and executing successful culture building activities, including team celebrations, company events, and training initiatives.
· Serve as a liaison between internal and external vendors when planning team events; inform attendees/participants of function dates and times, reserve meeting space,
provide audio/visual and other ancillary equipment/materials as needed and support services when appropriate.
· Provide hospitality support for outside vendors and visiting employees including booking meeting spaces, ordering lunches, providing local recommendations for travel and lodging.
· Assist Gaming Leaders with travel arrangements (domestic and international), ordering and monitoring corporate credit card usage, completing expense reports, meeting planning and any other administrative duties as needed.
· Perform a full range of administrative duties, including preparing PowerPoint presentations, writing/typing notes, correspondence, maintaining Excel spreadsheets, proofreading all written materials to ensure professional and accurate documentation.
· Assist with office projects as needed, including but not limited to remodels and facility upgrades.
· Communicate in person and through correspondence with high-level contacts inside and outside the company.
Qualifications
Education / Experience:
· 2-4 years of Office/Administrative Assistant work experience preferred
· High School Diploma considered; Associate’s Degree preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Ability to build relationships with all levels and personality types
· Strong customer service skills; ability to tactfully handle phone calls, filter as appropriate and redirect to other sources if necessary.
· Strong organization and planning skills with high attention to detail.
· Ability to take initiative without being prompted and work independently with minimal supervision.
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple programs and tasks simultaneously.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information.
· Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft suite applications, especially Word, Excel and Power Point.
· Demonstrate ability to use discretion and make sound judgment.
· Analytical abilities sufficient to handle most complex clerical functions.
