About the Role:
We seek a motivated and knowledge-thirsty Junior Localisation Specialist to join our growing team based in Riga. Our localisation team manages a top-rated product portfolio in 35+ languages and counting. To ensure our first-class standards, we seek an eager and talented professional to work closely with our cross-functional teams and contribute to creating a flawless and positive user experience for all our players.
Our Junior Localisation Specialist will report to the Localisation Manager and closely collaborate with peers from cross-functional teams. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative work environment, where your contributions will be valued. The Junior Localisation Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and updating various documents, tracking overall localisation progress, testing the products, and reporting errors.
The ideal candidate should be willing to handle manual day-to-day tasks and focus on expanding their localisation skills.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Coordinate the production (translation, reviews, and implementation);
- Assist with translated materials (game helps, game keys and any other documentation);
- Identify and fix linguistic and market-specific issues before the launch;
- Test implemented localisation for games and game features in all supported languages through manual testing;
- Report translation-related bugs, keep track of them being fixed and provide feedback;
- Create and maintain localisation assets;
- Create and maintain necessary localisation documentation for internal and external use.
What We Need From You:
- Able to manage multiple projects at once and follow through;
- Willing to work independently and in a team;
- Able to coordinate projects with colleagues from cross-functional teams;
- Have an eye for detail, even when under pressure;
- Ready to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with changing deadlines;
- Have a passion for language and technology;
- Have a set of problem-solving skills and dedication to improving existing processes;
- Fluency in English is a must.
Other Attributes We Welcome:
- Experience in the localisation industry and/or Casino game industry;
- An understanding and interest in languages;
- Familiarity with translation workflow;
- Expertise in industry-related CAT tools;
- Fluency in any language other than English.
