We are seeking a Lead BizDev Manager with deep expertise in the Payments sector, particularly within the iGaming industry. This role extends beyond traditional business development by focusing on niche and strategic markets. You will need a creative approach to forge partnerships with specialized Payment Providers not available in the mass market within iGaming or high-risk business, as well building relationships with new Operators.
The ideal candidate will leverage their strategic expertise to build relationships with the most innovative Payment Providers in dedicated markets, ensuring GR8 Tech’s clientele benefits from secure and efficient payment options. Additionally, in this role you will be adept at conducting complex and challenging negotiations with a diverse range of stakeholders, including iGaming business owners and C-Level executives at payment providers.
About your key responsibilities and impact:
- Scouting and securing exclusive payment solutions that are not typically available in mainstream markets to cater to the unique needs of GR8 Tech clients in both new target markets and established iGaming sectors;
- Leveraging in-depth industry knowledge to tailor exclusive payment solutions for clients;
- Attending and actively participating in industry events focused on payments, iGaming, and high-risk processing;
- Building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers within the payments industry, including payment processors, regulatory bodies, and industry associations;
- Bridging GR8 Tech clients, internal stakeholders, and external payment providers;
- Mastering clear, concise, and persuasive communication, both written and verbal;
- Conducting challenging negotiations with various stakeholders;
- Dividing team members into geo-specialized experts for Europe (Western/Nordics and CEE), LATAM, and APAC regions;
- Developing clear plans for business development team activities in GR8 Tech target markets, including participation in exhibitions and outreach to potential payment providers;
- Driving active upsell efforts with current clients by promoting additional provider services to meet their evolving business needs.
Essential professional experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in business development, partnership management, or fintech consulting within payments, with a strong network in iGaming/Payments;
- Strong negotiation skills: Capable of conducting challenging negotiations with various stakeholders, including iGaming business owners, payment provider owners, and C-level executives, Head of Payments. The negotiations covering technical, compliance, legal, and BizDev aspects;
- Experience in unconventional methods to connect with key contacts (industry-related events, associations, social media);
- Adaptability: Ability to work effectively under high pressure and meet tight deadlines (expectations from GR8 Tech Clients) in overall delivery in payments space;
- Prioritization: Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and focus the business development team's efforts;
- Strong command of English, Ukrainian or Russian language.
