We are looking for:
Finance Executive
Location: Malta
Main responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day accounting duties (postings, procurement and payments)
- Posting general entries to maintain accurate financial records
- Performing reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial transactions in relation to corporate bank accounts, other accounts designated for Clients monies, owed to customers and merchants
- Maintaining receivables by tracking and following up on outstanding payments
- Actively chase debtors to ensure timely collection of payments
- Assisting month-end process leading to the submission of the monthly management accounts and other reporting
- Assisting in audits, providing necessary financial data and reports
- Assisting with the preparation of VAT and tax returns
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned
Your skillset:
- 2 years’ experience in a similar position
- In possession of Diploma in Accounting is an asset
- Ability to work well in a team and self-driven
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Possession of strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English
- Competency in Ms Office, especially MS Excel or Google Sheets and accounting software
- Willingness to learn on the job and manage their own processes
