Responsibilities
- User Research & Analysis:
- Conduct user research through various methods (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability tests).
- Use tools like Crazy Egg and Hotjar to analyze user behavior, identify pain points, and gather insights.
- Create personas, user journeys, and user flows based on research and analytics data.
- Wireframing & Prototyping:
- Develop wireframes, storyboards, and mockups that align with project goals.
- Create interactive prototypes to demonstrate design concepts.
- Iterate designs based on user feedback, Crazy Egg and Hotjar insights, and testing.
- Visual Design:
- Design high-quality UI elements and layouts that are consistent with the company’s brand identity.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to create visually appealing interfaces.
- Maintain design systems and UI component libraries.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with developers to ensure the feasibility of designs.
- Present and justify design decisions to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other designers to ensure a consistent and cohesive user experience across all products.
- Testing & Validation:
- Conduct usability testing to identify UI/UX issues.
- Utilize Crazy Egg and Hotjar for heatmaps, scroll maps, session recordings, and user feedback to inform design decisions.
- Iterate and improve designs based on user testing results and data-driven insights.
- Ensure the final product aligns with user needs and business goals.
- Tools & Technology:
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or similar.
- Experience using Crazy Egg and Hotjar for user behavior analysis and feedback.
- Familiarity with prototyping tools like InVision, Marvel, or others.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UI/UX design work.
- Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Strong visual design skills with attention to detail.
- Experience using Crazy Egg, Hotjar, or similar tools for UX analysis.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
