Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst specializing in Manufacturing processes within Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of manufacturing operations and a proven track record of leveraging Oracle EBS to optimize and streamline manufacturing workflows. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and implement solutions that drive efficiency and productivity in our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to manufacturing processes.
Analyze existing manufacturing workflows and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
Configure and customize Oracle EBS modules to meet the specific needs of the manufacturing department.
Design and implement solutions within Oracle EBS to streamline manufacturing operations, including but not limited to production scheduling, shop floor control, inventory management, and quality control.
Conduct testing and validation of configured solutions to ensure accuracy and compliance with business requirements.
Provide end-user training and support during the implementation and post-implementation phases.
Work closely with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle EBS manufacturing modules.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in manufacturing technology to continuously enhance our systems and processes.
Collaborate with other business analysts and stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration with other functional areas of the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on manufacturing processes.
Extensive knowledge of manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.
Hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, particularly in manufacturing modules such as Oracle Manufacturing (Discrete and Process Manufacturing), Inventory, Bills of Material (BOM), Work in Process (WIP), Quality, and Cost Management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough testing and validation of configured solutions to ensure accuracy and compliance with business requirements.
Proven track record of providing comprehensive end-user training and support during the implementation and post-implementation phases.
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
